Straight answers before you sign up.
Does it work when the network drops at the gate?
Yes. Recording a payment works without internet by design. Your staff pick cash or UPI, confirm the amount and save; the entry is saved on the phone and goes through the moment signal returns, exactly once, with no duplicate charge.
A visible saved state and a pending count mean nobody has to guess whether an entry made it. This is the core promise, not a fallback mode.
Can we record both UPI and cash on the same payment?
Yes. Each payment carries its method, and a single due can be split, for example part cash and part UPI, so the box always matches what was actually collected. If the amount differs from what was due, ParkOS asks for a reason before it saves.
Are the receipts GST-compliant?
Yes. Receipts are serial-numbered with your GSTIN and tax line items, at your lot's configured rate, with an exemption toggle for cases like resident welfare association parking.
Every receipt is shareable on WhatsApp, downloadable as a PDF and printable on a 2-inch thermal roll.
Do you hold or settle the money our vehicle owners pay?
No, and that is deliberate. When online payments are switched on, collections flow through Razorpay straight to your account using split settlement. ParkOS never holds, pools or settles your funds.
We charge you a per-lot subscription, never a cut of your vehicle owners' payments.
How is our data kept separate and secure?
Every lot's data is kept apart. The separation is enforced in the database itself, on every table that holds lot data, not just in application code, so a query can only ever return your own data.
Card details never reach ParkOS; they are handled by the payment provider's hosted fields. Data for lots in India is stored in an India region.
We keep a paper register today. How do we move over?
Start free and run a single day of collection in parallel with your register to build trust. You can add vehicles one by one, or import your existing list from a spreadsheet.
For larger operators, Enterprise onboarding includes a guided migration of your historical vehicles and dues.
What exactly is in the Free plan?
Free covers up to 10 vehicles with unlimited staff logins: manual cash and UPI recording that works without internet, serial receipts and the three core reports with CSV export. It is free forever within that cap.
When you pass 10 active vehicles, every vehicle is ₹20 a month (11 vehicles is ₹220). Walk-ins stay free. There is no card required to start.
What does support look like?
Onboarding and support are WhatsApp-first and founder-led in the early days, so you reach a person who knows the product. Enterprise adds priority support and an SLA.
